Our Commitment

TCMCE believes that every student has the right to pursue education in an environment free from fear, harassment, intimidation, or discrimination.

Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and will invite disciplinary action in accordance with institutional policies and applicable regulations.

We encourage a culture of friendship, mentorship, professionalism, and mutual respect among all members of the college community.

  • Ragging is a punishable offence.
  • It affects the physical, mental and emotional well-being of students.

What is Ragging?

 

Ragging includes any act that causes physical, mental, emotional, or psychological distress to another student.

Physical harassment
Humiliation or embarrassment
Verbal abuse
Online or cyber harassment
Bullying or intimidation
Forced activities or misconduct

Zero-Tolerance Policy Strict action against every form of ragging.
Student Awareness Orientation programmes promoting respect and responsible behaviour.
Faculty Mentorship Continuous interaction and guidance for students.
Safe Campus Environment Hostel supervision and student support.
Easy Reporting Multiple confidential reporting channels.
Student Well-being Counselling, mentoring, and emotional support.

Report a Ragging Incident

Your Safety Is Our Priority

If you have experienced or witnessed any incident of ragging, please report it immediately. Every complaint is treated confidentially and investigated promptly.

Disciplinary Action

Students found guilty of ragging may face disciplinary action depending on the nature and seriousness of the offence.

  • Written Warning
  • Suspension from Academic Activities
  • Suspension from Hostel
  • Monetary Penalties (where applicable)
  • Expulsion from the Institution
  • Reporting to the Appropriate Authorities

Important Information

  • All complaints are handled with complete confidentiality.
  • Every complaint is investigated fairly and impartially.
  • False or malicious complaints may attract disciplinary action.
  • Students are encouraged to report incidents without fear of retaliation.
  • Immediate assistance will be provided wherever necessary.
